Dr. Matthew Heinrich specializes in joint replacement, from new, minimally invasive techniques to complex revision techniques; he focuses on reestablishing bone stock and joint mechanics. Dr. Heinrich has extensive experience in procedures such as anterior total hip arthroplasty and hip arthroscopy. He also offers mini-incision hips and unicondylar knee replacements for quicker recovery.
The joint replacement surgeon completed formal training at Baylor College of Medicine. After his residency, he concentrated on adult reconstructive surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. He holds degrees from Texas Tech School of Medicine and University of Houston.
Board-certified, Dr. Heinrich is a consultant and a clinical assistant professor for the University of Texas Medical Branch. His fellow orthopedic surgeons in Austin commend him for service in the Texas Army National Guard and Naval Air Reserves.
